i currently have a 06 dodge ram qc hemi 2wd and i have been looking at the cst 7inch lift kit. my understanding was it came iwth a 3inch coil spring and 4inch spindle. i recently read on the cst site and a few others that if i have the hemi i would need a 3inch coil spacer now. what confused me more was that i know of 3 -4 other people with the exact truck as me and the 3inch coil springs were used with there hemi engines. so can someone answer for me whats the reason behind not using the coil spring anymore. and if i did put the coil spring would it mess up the truck vs putting the spacer.
