I got rid of my Superduty, and I have a nissan Titan now. Its bone stock at the moment but I have all of my glass, and camburg LT kit are here. So now Im just waiting in line to get some shop time.

new to the forum with a quick question

i currently have a 06 dodge ram qc hemi 2wd and i have been looking at the cst 7inch lift kit. my understanding was it came iwth a 3inch coil spring and 4inch spindle. i recently read on the cst site and a few others that if i have the hemi i would need a 3inch coil spacer now. what confused me more was that i know of 3 -4 other people with the exact truck as me and the 3inch coil springs were used with there hemi engines. so can someone answer for me whats the reason behind not using the coil ...

Cage Mods - thoughts?

The first pic is how it sits right now. As SDHQ Jeff knows, there are some issues with current design. First off, the welds are not great but those could be grinded and fixed up a little. Second is the roof area doesn't go back far enough to cover my head from the sun (see the headrest, it's not even covered). 3rd is the front tires rub hard on the front of the slider tube. I also would like to extend the profile of the cage to sorta match the wheelbase, it's pretty long. Still not quite sure ...

What do you think of the new site?

Some good times and some bad times. Things didn't start off well when my Tcase was acting up but thanks to Jeff and Rick for their help, it got fixed. Other problems finally took me out but not before we could do at least one awesome trail. Woody's Wash or something like that. Anyway, if you went, post your pictures. Rick and I went out with the Suzuki club to Bulldog area this weekend for some nite wheelin... Some cool rigs and some decent slightly modified rigs also. There were quite a few vehicles, 15!, which unfortunately causes quite a bit of waiting and sitting time.

I started out the action by almost putting my 4Runner on its side (again) at the first good double step down.

One of the guys with a Toyota based buggy ended the action by breaking a stock Birfield axle on a really good DEEP hole. ...

Ok so I have a 99 super duty with a Dr 3" leveling kit and stock rear blocks. Now my question is how am I supposed to choose a set of brake lines if fords vary in suspension height so much from the factory, I have seen stock trucks just as tall as mine and stock trucks much lower. I guess it would be nice if there were some actual measurements next to the sizes so I could compare them to my factory lines and just get the next size longer to accommodate the slight lift better.

Jeff and I started out to just find the start of the trail Due to all the warnings about equipment, tire size, spare parts, etc. We found a couple really nice sections and next thing you know we're at the beach!

This trail is good fun for the keikis. I haven't had this much fun on a trail since...well Woddys Wash and that was what a month ago??

We went thru Martinez Canyon in what will probably one of our last trips there as it is slated for closure in the near future. This is truly an incredible canyon, but what it lacks in technical difficulty it surely made up for in the scenery - especially on a beautiful day like today.
